Youngsters can get physical exercise through functional movement on the floor or apparatus that promotes endurance, strength, flexibility, agility, balance, coordination, spatial awareness and body control.
Following the Keystep Gymnastics routines the children will learn to sequence and transition smoothly between gymnastics shapes and exercises building up to peer assessed peformances.
Youngsters can get physical exercise through Dance that promotes endurance, strength, flexibility, agility, balance, coordination, spatial awareness and body control.
The children will learn to sequence and transition smoothly through coreographed dance routines building up to peer assessed peformances. Dances include Disneys' Circle of Life, Bare Necessities, Under the Sea and Let it Go. Another Dance the children can learn is the New Zealand Haka.
The focus of our Team/Invasion Games sessions are to have FUN, and through our enthusiastic Instructors the boys and girls will learn a variety of different Sports to develop valuable concepts such as sharing, taking turns, teamwork and listening.
The children will learn all aspects of each game building on previous fundamentals and developing movements paterns in order to play the game.
Team Games include - Netball, Basketball, Benchball, Uni Hoc, Quicksticks Hockey, Handball, Football, Tag-Rugby, Tchoukball, American Football, Ultimate Frisbee, La Crosse & Dodgeball.
Focusing on Hand – Eye Co-ordination your children will develop previous fundamentals of Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, Pickleball & Volleyball, using shorter rackets and soft balls we will introduce games and exercises to inspire a life –long passion for playing.
These sessions develop Skills, such as Batting, Fielding, Throwing & Catching.
Focusing on Hand – Eye Co-ordination the children will develop skills needed to play Cricket, Rounders.
These sessions also incude Tri-Golf, where children learn the art of Putting and Chipping a golf ball working their way through the Golf Foundation games.
Let your youngsters get some exercise at our athletics Session. Children will take part in running, throwing and jumping events, such as Javelin, Discus, Shot Putt, Long Jump, High Jump, Sprints & Relays. Learning valuable concepts such as sharing, taking turns, teamwork and listening. You never know we may discover Britain’s future Olympians.
Let your youngsters get some exercise at our sports day. Children will take part in some of the traditional sports day games, as well as learning valuable concepts such as sharing, taking turns, teamwork and listening.
We offer a wide range of additional activities for children to try out something new whilst still focusing on developing core fundamental skills.
Activities include - Archery, Fencing, Kinball, Quidditch, Highland Games, Indoor Kurling and many more.
